At 1,004 feet, this one continued the Dream class tradition of large-scale, bow-to-stern cruise ship fun including the food-and-entertainment space Ocean Plaza, the splashy stylings of Carnival WaterWorks… and The Lanai, a convenient, scenic half-mile outdoor wraparound promenade deck. The Carnival Magic has lots of dining options. Most are included and a few might cost a little extra. Whatever your tummy desires, you will find it on the Magic!

what do i pack?
You are on vacation, so obviously we want you to be comfortable, but there are certain rules for the dining rooms. You can of course wear shorts, t-shirts and other casual attire in the buffet, etc, however a little dress up is required for the nicer venues. Here is a little breakdown to assist you with packing.
Daytime Attire:
Evening Attire:
There are two types of evening attire, "Cruise Casual" and "Cruise Elegant"
Cruise Casual:
For Men: Sports slacks, khakis, jeans, long dress shorts, collard polo shirts or dress shirts
For Women: Summer dresses, casual skirts, pants, capris, dress shorts, jean blouses and tops
Never allowed in evening: Cut off jeans, sleeveless shirts, t-shirts, gym clothing (including yoga pants), swim suits, hats, flip flops, etc
Cruise Elegant:
For Men: dress slacks, dress shirts, maybe a sport coat, tie, suit, tuxedo
For Women: Cocktail dresses, pantsuits, skirt and blouse, evening gown
Daytime Attire:
- Shorts and capris
- T-shirts, polo shirts, blouses and tops (shore sleeved or sleeveless)
- Khakis and jeans
- Summer dresses
- Light weight sweater or jacket
- Work out gear
- Bathing suits and cover up
- Hat or visor
- Comfortable shoes

You should expect to arrive to Miami at least one day prior. Do not fly in on the same day as the cruise. Jarod's Journeys can help you made your travel arrangements. Alaska Airlines flies nonstop from Seattle to Fort Lauderdale and its an easy shuttle from there. American Airlines flies nonstop from Seattle to Miami. You can also fly to West Palm Beach.
As people book and we get closer to the departure date, Jarod's Journeys will look into a hotel that we can secure a group rate at and then a shuttle for everyone to go to the ship together!
