Split
You join us in Split, a town the grew out of an imperial Roman palace over a period of 1700+ years, and offers these layers of history and architecture on the palm of your hand, waiting for you to grasp it. Explore the Diocletian’s palace, hike the Marjan Park Forest, have a long coffee with the locals, and enjoy the fish from the oldest fish market in Croatia.

Bol
Bol
Our first sail leads us to Bol, on the southern slopes of Brač Island, where some of the best olive oil in Croatia is made. The locals will pull you in, with tales of their ancient wine and oil making traditions, as this place boasts the oldest wine makers association on the Adriatic. After a 20 minute walk from the Old town, you will find the Golden Cape, one of the most famous beaches in the world.

Hvar
Hvar
On our third day, we near the party capital of Croatia. As soon as your feet touch the white marble port of Hvar, you are taken away on a journey of history, cuisine and party-culture, which, as the night goes on, will take you further and further down the rabbit hole of street pubs, bars and island nightclubs, in a place which is unlike any other in Croatia. For a calmer traveler, plenty of quiet nooks can be found, where you can enjoy the sights in peace, before the nighttime craziness.

Day #5
Korcula
Korcula
After sailing through the channel, framed by the Korčula Island and the massive mountains of Pelješac peninsula, we arrive at the birth place of Marco Polo, the famous medieval explorer, whose life journey began on these ancient cobbled streets. Get lost in the any alleys and local businesses, as you learn about the wine and oil that made Korčula so rich in the past. As the sun sets over the western part of the town, enjoy the breeze, which is given to you by the town’s specific architecture.

Mljet
Mljet
We make our way to Pomena on the island of Mljet, one of the oldest National parks in Croatia. The two beautiful salt lakes, the main part of the NP, are set like two blue jewels into the miles and miles of deep green pine forest that surround them. Walk with the butterflies, and swim in the crystal clear waters of the park, and retire to a quiet evening beneath the centuries old pines of the island.

Sipan
Sipan
Our next sail is towards the island of Šipan, stopping to swim and enjoy the beautiful Elaphite islands along the way. After the serene atmosphere of Mljet, we are welcomed to the calm, small town atmosphere of Šipan, which will prepare us for the bustle of Dubrovnik, reserved for the next day. Here we can enjoy a quiet afternoon and evening, as the sun sets over the Adriatic.

We arrive in Dubrovnik in the early afternoon, which gives you time to explore the Dubrovnik Old Town, one of the biggest and best preserved living monuments in the world. Enjoy the history, culture, high end cuisine and the booming night life. We spend the night in port of Gruž.

Return to your ship in the afternoon for some leisure time to enjoy a variety of onboard activities and the relaxing ambiance of the Yangtze River cruise.

We will work with you if you would like to visit Spain prior to Morocco. Jarod will be doing this and it will help ease the time change. The plan is to arrive into Madrid on the 30th and fly to Casablanca on the 2nd of April and stay at an airport hotel in Casablanca. Our tour will pick us up in the morning of the 3rd to start our city tour and start our time in Morocco! If you are interested, let me know! Below is what we are looking at:

March 31: City excursions and tours (tours optional)
April 1: Trip to Segovia or Toledo (optional). Possible group dinner for Paella at local establishment (optional)
