Michael applied for a job for Alaska Airlines in 2014 dreaming of adventure and something new. Brittney applied to be closer to her family and to work for an amazing company. Neither of them were looking for love when they met in August of 2016. Brittney was based in Anchorage, Michael in Seattle. Someone on Brittneys trip called out sick, so they needed a replacement and that person was Michael. Sitting side by side on the jump-seat, they realized that they had a lot in common, so they went on a few "friend dates". A few months later Michael invited Brittney on a date... when she wasn't paying attention, he snuck in a kiss. After that, he decided he wasn't giving up and he kept asking Brittney out. One month later, Brittney said yes to an "official" date on December 6th, 2016 and the rest is history.
When Brittney is asked about Michael here is what she says: "Our first date was memorable for me because I couldnt stop staring into his eyes. I was so excited to get to know him more and to find someone so easy to talk to was more than amazing. Our first date was at a Mexican restaurant where we laughed and talked like we had been friends forever. Our first "I love You's" were said in Cabo San Lucas on Valentine's Day. Nothing could have prepared me for when he said "I love you" back. Not only is he kind and loving, but he is also the missing piece of my heart that I was longing for. He's the one who makes me a better person and the only man who's left me speechless. We've had an amazing year full of friends, family and unforgettable adventures. The highlight of 2017 was saying "YES!!" to Michael on the beach in Mexico on December 6, 2017. It was romantic and to this day I really dont remember what he said. I just remember him down on one knee and then me asking "really?" over and over. Mexico is so dear to us and when wedding plans came up we both decided that Mexico was in our hearts. How amazing to say "I do" in the same place we said "I love you!!".
When Michael was asked about Brittney, here is what he says. "From the moment I laid my eyes on Brittney, I knew there was something about her that lured me towards her. I somehow mustard up the courage to ask her out on a real date to a Mexican restaurant for dinner! The whole time we laughed and shared experiences of our lives that made me feel even closer to her like we were meant to be! After that I knew it was something more then just a "thing". This is what led us to Cabo San Lucas for Valentine's Day, where we professed our love! I knew before then, but didnt know how or when I would say it. After Cabo I already started planning the proposal for our 1 year anniversary which I wanted to follow the Mexico tradition so we were off to Ixtapa. She had no idea what I had planned and was so surprised. I can not wait to marry my best friend and call her my wife. She is my rock and makes me want to be a better person and to excel in life for our future together. My Dreams have come true!!
We would love for all of our family and friends to join us for an amazing celebration.

want to buy them something nice?
Michael and Brittney love to travel, and their wedding registry will reflect this. In the day of gift cards and online purchasing, they have decided it makes more sense to book adventures rather than gifts. There are a limited number of household item, however they would love for you to donate experiences to their honeymoon fund. While making a gift donation to the honeymoon fund, they ask that you tell them how you would like the money to be spent, whether on a sunset cruise, a snorkeling trip, massage, etc.
Your gifts will make amazing memories for them as they start their lives together.
